  • New
    • Breeding Inbreeding now costs pounds: animals with high COI grow noticeably slower and finish lighter, while outcrossing gets a small boost. Crossbred cattle also pick up hybrid vigor in weaning and yearling growth.
    • Cattle Cattle now have weight! Every animal grows along a realistic curve from birth weight through weaning, yearling, and mature size — bulls, steers, and heifers each on their own track.
    • Cattle Weight is driven by genetics: breed makeup, frame size, muscling (especially the hindquarter), body depth, and a new Growth trait all shape how fast and how big an animal grows. Look for the Growth trait when picking your next herd sire.

    • Shows Entry fees are now charged when the show starts, not when you enter. If you can't cover the fee at show time, the entry is scratched and you'll be notified.
    • Shows Jackpot classes are broken at check-in: steers split by weight, breeding cattle by age, about 10 head per class.
    • Shows Shows are now judged automatically! Every class is placed top to bottom by one of our judges — each with their own priorities, pet peeves, and consistency.
    • Shows Official judge's reasons: the judge gives short spoken reasons on the top placings in every class and on all champion selections, in their own voice.
    • Shows Champion drive-offs with the real call-back rule — when a class winner is pulled for Champion, the runner-up from their class comes back in to contend for Reserve.
    • Shows Show results pages are live! See champions, browse every class's full placings, and read the judge's reasons. Finished shows on the calendar now link straight to their results.

    • Inbox Major inbox overhaul: replies now always land in the correct conversation, deleted conversations reappear when the other person messages you again (showing only new messages), and the unread badge in the menu works again.

    • Chat Chat rooms! The chat is now split into the Stockyard Cafe (general), Sale Barn (trading), Show Ring, and Greenhorns (new player help). Jump between rooms with the tabs at the top.
    • Chat Chat history is now saved — messages stick around when you leave, and you can scroll up to load older conversation.
    • Chat Paste a link to any animal or auction in chat and it turns into a preview card with the picture, breed, and current bid.
    • Chat Auction sales are now announced live in the Sale Barn as they close.
    • Chat Mention someone with @ and they'll get a notification even if they're offline.
    • Chat Added a report button on chat messages and an ignore option in the user list. Ignored players' messages and whispers are hidden for you.
  • Improved
    • Chat Better moderation tools and an improved chat filter to keep the barn friendly.
    • Chat Web links pasted in chat now show a safe preview of the page, and previews no longer slow down sending.
