Market Steer is terminal.
Premiums come from the terminal pot
(12,287 coins),
split by points, and each steer is paid only its single highest award, so its lower
lines show no prize.
65 steers earned a premium and went to the Packer; the rest went home.

"This steer has the most rib, body, and dimension in the class. Not real easy to show, and the presentation out here was really good. Heck of a class and a very good winner. Let's give these exhibitors a round of applause."

"This steer in second is fresh and bold through his forerib and holds it back into his flank. Where I've got to reel this one in is. Wants to roll his hock and set down on the outside of his hoof wall."
