Market Steer is terminal.
Premiums come from the terminal pot
(12,287 coins),
split by points, and each steer is paid only its single highest award, so its lower
lines show no prize.
65 steers earned a premium and went to the Packer; the rest went home.

RSC Emersyn MA P009
"Our class winner is a stout-featured, powerful female with genuine width and dimension from behind. Not real easy to show, and the presentation out here was really good. We tried to tell you what we saw in them the best we could. Doesn't mean you have to agree."

"Get behind the next one and he swallows the class in width, square and stout from stifle to stifle. She's not the widest female in the world, but I think she's got enough at this stage of development."

"Plainer and harder up front, and gives up femininity to the females ahead of her."

"The top ones are a wash on the big stuff — in a contest, that pair's a coin flip."

"The 5th-place heifer reads with a lot of true natural width and thickness on the top side."
